Mount Stephen's Club Joyful226

Mount Stephen's Club Built in 1926 in Montreal Canada, it was a mens only club, later it allowed women in on certain days then in about 1974 allowed women to join. In 2011 the club closed its doors. Now it is being added onto the back mainly with a very ultra modern addition and will be turned into hotel by the same name only the Club part will be changed to Hotel. It is expected to open sometime in 2015. Although there is no congruency with the beautiful Old woodwork and the new addition.. to me personally it is a little sad that they didn't try to stay somewhat in style but then again I like vintage and do like buildings to keep to style at the very least.
