Yes, animals are too smart to have gods. They have ONE GOD. It is the one true God that breathes the breath of life into them and gives them the survival instinct..where else could it come from? How does a mother animal know how to care for its babies? God made the animal and for man to have dominion over the animals. That is why animals run from man (people) and why we love our pets so much. God made them devoted to us. Yes, animals are much smarter than most people...
