This is how I feel. We have not been to family holidays for about 3 years now due to rift in my family. Only myself, my hubby, and my daughter. One particular family member decided that I married the wrong person...and disowned us, It is hard everytime a holiday, birthday, anything comes up because I feel so sad and left out. My daughter suffers too. It is childish to waste the years on trivial things. I have done nothing wrong. What is my mistake? I married someone I met online. So my family member wants nothing to do with this person therefore we r no longer invited to participate in anything. So when my family goes every holiday to be together...we have our own holiday. It is very sad and lonely sometimes...but I just pray he grows out of his childnish before one of us dies...literally. Last time he disowned a family member was my Grandma and he finally came around when she died. I guess if I die or my husband dies all will be forgiven. I am very upset at the moment pls forgive my morbid thoughts and bling. I just found out they r having Christmas there again at this family members house where all will be...but us. :( I am so upset and have had it. anyways...Merry Christmas. Pls don't take for granted family and spend as much time possible with them as u can. U never know when u will not be able to.

u know what my dear i so understand what your going through...sigh... my fam. cant stand each other and its said cause i would really like to have the big holiday dinner with all my fam around but sadly i cant. my gandma doenst like me cause i'm sick and my other fam has drama with each other so to add us in one house nope.. hand in there sweetie.. you have your hubby and maybe one day they will come around.((faith)) have a blessed christmas and happy new year...hugs ~april~

I'm sorry you have to go through this Rhonda!! Maybe you can jump the gun & invite some of those family members to your house for next year before the "bad guy" does. I hate that you're so sad!! I hope things get better soon!!
