The Tea Party. / Joyful226

~A Cup of Tea ~ One day little Sarah's Momma was out, and her daddy was in charge of her. She was maybe 3 years old. Someone had given her a little 'tea set' as a gift, and it was one of her favorite toys. Sarah's Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when she brought him a little cup of "tea", which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, little Sarah's Momma came home. Her Daddy made his wife wait in the living room to watch little Sarah bring him a cup of tea, because it was "just the cutest thing!" Sarah's Momma waited, and sure enough, here the child came down the hall with a cup of tea for her Daddy. Sarah's Momma watched him drink it up. Then she said, (as only a Momma would know), "Did it ever occur to you. That the only place she can reach to get water, is the toilet?" (I did not write this joke but thought it funny) Who knows it likely was true although I did change the tense from first person to third, gave the child a name and changed it from grandparents to parents because I couldn't find any grandparent stamps that would work.
