I will be Your Shelter

Dedication for http://blingee.com/profile/IVXXTHEWOLF I didn't realize you'd already seen this. I had a small passage I wrote for it. Hope you like. ______________________________________________ Alpha wolf went out searching for members of his pack. All were home safe. On his way back, black clouds rolled and thunder snapped a large tree just yards away. Not far past the tree, a female lay on the forest floor, unable to move. She was about to give birth. He lay beside her and stayed throughout the night. She gave birth to four healthy pups. In the morning, he went and howled for his pack. All ten came running to see what the fuss was all about. To their delight, their eyes met the four pups and they knew what had to be done. The leader told her to leave the pups behind and walk with them. She was weak and in need of nourishment, water and a good sleep. Four members of the pack took one pup each by the scruff of their necks and carried them back home. Their pack was now fifteen strong. ~Kat Jalbert
