ANDY WARHOL ~ COWBOYS & INDIANS SERIES ~ 1986 - Andy Warhol is widely considered to be the most famous American artist of all time. More than likely, you have seen some of his artworks featuring Campbell's Soup cans and his series of celebrity portraits as well as self-portraits. Warhol used the medium of printmaking to create his work. One type of printmaking that he practiced is called silk-screen printing. This is the process of pushing ink through a screen, similar to the way designs are printed on t-shirts.
