: The 2 married for a time too, it was the height of her career and Joe was angry about how the studios were using her ~ they divorced but it seemed realllllly hard for marilyn.. the 2 stayed best friends and always saw eachother and talked to eachother.. in the end Marilyn was considering getting back with Joe, she fell in love with a man in mexico and then poof she was gone.. Joe was there to take care of everything. It was AMAZING how he took care of her funeral, her will, made sure only close friends and family attended the wake, watched over every single thing.. he cried and it was all over the papers.. Joe DiMaggio is/was an extremely famous baseball star (hall of fame) and to see him crying in 1962 really was a show of Great Love. They loved eachother to the end. xoxo
