: It was 1903, on October 23rd. Merideth was 13 years old. Merideth wasnt all of a happy child as other girls...she was dark, independent, and just sad all of the time. Well, one day, 3 girls who merideth hated wanted to make peace with her and make her happier. Merideth agreed and went along. The 4 girls went to Brookland forest, near their town, but got lost. after 5 hours the girls had no hope; they were miles from home. This made merideth upset. "How could you??? you sent me here to ditch me! how dare! i should've never trusted you!" marideth shouted and stormed off crying. the other three girls never ever even thought of that. "what shuold we do?" one little girl, Anna, asked. in response, a second little girl, Tina, in the group said, " I dont know. but if she wants to be left alone in the most dangerous woods in the country, than so be it. I think i might know a way back home. JUst leave her;she's such a drama queen.". Not a good idea Tina! Tina and the other two girls left Merideth alone in the forest. Later, a big blizard came. Merideth lied frozen in the lake where she was at in agony until she finally died. Now everyday Merideth comes to haunt people who have betrayed a friend; such as Tina. Every day, like sands through an hourglass, Merideth, at the same sopt in which she died, romes the forest and haunts anyone who is near. Moral: Never, ever, betray a friend, especially when a situation is deadly.
