Violence Against Women.....it ain't pretty!
40% to 60% of all women who are killed, die at the hands of a former or current partner who abused them. Now that's a frightening statistic! Too many times I've seen or heard of this type of abuse. I should also mention that I've been on the receiving end of abuse. And now it's crept into my backyard once again. My oldest daughter is being abused :-( It is NEVER, EVER okay for a man to put his hands on a woman like this....EVER!!!! I remember just like every other battered woman out there, thinking what did I do to set him off?? Too many times I hear ppl say, "what goes on behind closed doors is their business". Or "It's not my problem". Are you flippin' kidding me!!!!???!!! It's NOT okay to turn a blind eye to ANY KIND OF ABUSE!!! Obviously anyone that can do this to another human being is in DESPERATE need of help! If you know someone that is being abused do whatever you can to help the person being abused. She's going to need A LOT of support. I have a link that I'm going to paste at the end of this. I urge anyone to please copy & paste the link into your browser....PLEASE read the article. It has GREAT advice on how to help & support an abused victim. And remember people, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to report abuse. Just ask yourself...Would you want someone to help you if you were being beat to a pulp, or within an inch of your life? wow, this is heart braking 
 I'm totally against domestic violence.
me and my children are also victims, and yes I'm a guy. 
my now Ex-wife took advantage of a man that would not lift a hand to a woman. I have had beer bottles busted against my head, been almost burned alive in our bed, stabbed in my back. Until she walked away leaving me to raise our 5 children alone.
so please remember not ONLY Women are victims.
