St. Patrick's Day am 17.03.2022

Der St. Patrick's Day wird am 17. März 2022 zu Ehren des irischen Nationalhelden St. Patrick gefeiert. Der St. Patrick's Day, oder kurz "Paddy's Day", wird von Iren auf der ganzen Welt gefeiert. Die Farbe Grün wird stark mit Saint Patrick assoziiert. Durch grüne Kleidung, Perücken oder sonstige grüne Accessoires wird am 17. März die Verbundenheit mit Irland und St. Patrick gezeigt. In manchen Städten werden Flüsse und Bier mit Lebensmittelfarbe grün gefärbt. Auch das grüne dreiblättrige Kleeblatt und die grün gekleideten irischen Kobolde, die "Leprechauns", treten am St. Patrick's Day überall in Erscheinung. ******************************************************************* St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on 17 March 2022 in honour of the Irish national hero St. Patrick.
