Mother of mine, Its just like yesterday.. The sun is out, The clouds twindle by and the night shall come again. This is repeated, day after day. Everyone expects tomorrow to come, No matter how the former day was spent. It is the beginning of my days that I met you, Your soft finger tips on my warm rose-bud cheeks. Soft hair curling to the soft spot on my scalp, A child in your arms. I looked to you for support, warmth, guidance and protection. A long time has passed and I too expect tomorrow to come. I may not see you everday anymore, I may of never saw you everyday... But those days, That I didn't. I still loved you. It's been rought, Hasn't it? The life we've had and shared. I sometimes wake up and expect to smell your perfumes and see you staring out the window like you always did first thing, Your curiousity on how the day would be.. Mother, I wish I could give it back to you, all the days we've missed together. We have no control of that, but maybe it'd be easier on you if you only knew no matter what you where still there for me. I cried for you when I got sick, you'd always be there then... Thank you Mother, for one of the most wonderful gifts you've given me. It's A lesson I've learned. When life gives you lemons, I'll call you over and we'll have lemonade. When the door behinds you closes, another one will always open..
